Exceptionally robust construction and large working areas are characteristic for all MAE wheelset assembly presses.



The press cylinder is mounted in a rigid cylinder crosshead. Equipped with a hard-chromed, ground piston rod and highly wear-resistant sealing and guiding elements, the cylinder is optimally fitted out for rough working conditions. The C-shaped resistance crosshead is especially dimensionally stable. It acts as counter bearing during pressing and can be moved for quick changeover.
